We are very excited to announce Reggae Roast and Ministry of Sound are joining forces to bring you a series of amazing outdoor summer Reggae events in our club courtyard

The first event is due to take place on Saturday 20th June and to kick things off we have put together a peach of a line up to get your mouth watering.

Headlining on the day will be the inimitable Gilles Peterson playing an exclusive Reggae Roast special selection. A true legend in his own right as a DJ, broadcaster, label boss and much more, Gilles has made a name for himself as one of the leading authorities in world music. We are super excited to have him bless the Reggae Roast stage!

Next up we have the most exciting young talent to emerge from the UK reggae scene in the last decade; the man like Kiko Bun. Having recently signed to Island Records, and working with legend such as Albarosie, Sean Paul and many more, this is a great opportunity to see this future star up close and personal.

Add to that a man who needs no introduction… UK Soundsystem legend Aba Shanti I. Having represented at Notting Hill Carnival for over 20 years he has influenced many of the UK bass music scenes key players and is a firm Reggae Roast favourite.

As always the mighty Reggae Roast will be there to mashing up the dance. Having forged a reputation as the leading light in the new generation of the UK Reggae / Soundsystem scene they are going from strength to strength. Representing on the day will be label boss Jim Moodie, plus label favourites Adam Prescott and Vibration Lab playing tracks from their newly released EP The Brass Plant.

On mic duties nicing up the dance we have veteran MCs Brother Culture and Donovan Kingjay who always keep the place bubbling in killer combination.

On top of that we will have magicians, food stalls, indoor / outdoor bar and a marquee at the ready in case the sun ain’t shining.

This is the first in a series of events we will be doing with Reggae Roast this summer, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for more info.
