Philippe Zdar and Boom Bass will be bringing their blend of French Touch and electro bangers to London this Valentines Day.
Cassius are one of the great French dance acts, pioneers of the French Touch sound in the late nineties alongside acts like Daft Punk and Etienne de Crecy, their sound incorporates equal parts French house and Balearic Beats. Known for dancefloor anthems "Feeling For You", "1999", "The Sound of Violence" and 2010's emotional anthem "I Love You So", don't miss out on this rare UK appearance from two France's biggest exports.
Supporting Cassius in The Box will be fellow Parisian, Clara 3000. Clara first stepped behind the decks at the age of nineteen and now, six years later, she's one of the biggest underground DJs in France. She regularly plays at the best Parisian nightclubs and can frequently be heard on Rinse France.
Also in The Box we have Italian nu disco favourite, Aeroplane. Formerly a double act, Vito de Luca has carried on the Aeroplane name and has gained a reputation for his "spacious cosmic disco" remixes of everyone from MGMT and Chromeo to The Rapture and Justin Timberlake.
Over in 103 is the shining light of France's deep house scene, The Mekanism. After holding down residencies at super-cool Parisian haunt, Social Club and Ibiza mecca Ushuaia, followed by an appearance on Boiler Room, The Mekanism has become one of the most in-demand underground DJs in Europe. Last time he was at Ministry of Sound he recorded an exclusive Spotlight mix before supporting house legends DJ Sneak and Todd Terry in The Box.
