The Gallery's international resident stops by for a night of strobe-induced debauchery
After February’s five hour foray into the extensive Markus Schulz repertoire, The Gallery’s coveted international resident returns with a very special extended set, which promises to hypnotise The Box with this tried and tested ethos.
From the tough yet melodic trance on which Markus made his name, to the latter part of proceedings - affectionately known as the “rabbit hole,” where the Schulz army strap themselves down, to plummet through a spiral of strobe-induced debauchery.
A Ministry of Sound veteran from previous open-till-close solo sets, these marathon sessions afford Markus a familiarity with Ministry of Sound matched by no other venue. This gives The Gallery faithful, a unique opportunity to experience the Coldhardbour Recordings boss in full flow.
A set of this length affords the DJ a confidence to experiment with a variety of styles and speeds, and promises a performance which is truly inspiring - and must be experienced live. From reaching for those lasers with lush vocals, to throbbing, tumultuous “heads down” techno, any unicorns in South London, should proceed with caution.
