505 GAMES BOWLS OVER THE ALLEY CATS
Milton Keynes - 505 Games today laced up their bowling shoes and marked another strike with Brunswick Pro Bowling, available this September for Nintendo Wii, PS2 and PSP. Game developer Point of View aims to deliver a realistic yet easily accessible gaming experience designed to appeal to bowlers at all levels of experience, from seasoned pros to self-confessed gutter fodder.
Casual rollers won’t have to worry themselves if they want to get on the lanes quickly. Dynamic ball cameras show the action from any angle one could possibly hope to see, while multiplayer sessions involve up to four bowlers who can unlock extensive equipment, new Brunswick balls and create-a-character options while competing.
For the more dedicated pin hunter, Brunswick Pro Bowling offers more than just a quick distraction. Do you know a ‘Wild Turkey’ from a ‘Golden Turkey’? Is Kingpin in your top five movies ever? Do you think bowling shoes qualify as casual wear? Answer yes to any/all of the above and you’ll appreciate the unique, powerful physics engine that underlies the game throughout. Bowling balls are accurately modelled to mimic proper weight and momentum, while real time changes to lane conditions will force you to adapt your game accordingly to chalk up the big scores.
Entering the career mode tasks you with competing in ten different tournaments over the course of a year, beating local rivals and building a reputation as the bowler to beat along the way.
Brunswick Pro Bowling, the perfect excuse to sport that customised bowling shirt you’ve always hankered after.
Developed by Point of View, Brunswick Pro Bowling is scheduled for release from 505 Games in September.
Brunswick Pro Bowling is available on Wii, PS2 and PSP from September 21st 2007
