OFFICIAL COMPETITION RULES
These “Official Competition Rules” govern your (“you”/”your”) participation in the Ministry of Sound Group Limited of 103 Gaunt Street, London SE1 6DP (“MOS”) “ Competition” (the “Competition”). Participation in the Competition by submitting your name and email address (as described in more detail below) constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Competition Rules. It is important that you read and understand them.
1. Who is Eligible?
Entrants must be over the age of sixteen (16). The Competition is only open to residents in the United Kingdom. Any person who is an employee of MOS or Champneys or an immediate family member of an employee of MOS or Champneys or any other person who is directly connected with MOS or Champneys, being any advertising promotion agency or supplier of the Prize (as defined below) for the Competition, shall be ineligible to enter.
“Champneys” means the company Champneys Health Resorts of Henlow, Bedfordshire, SG16 6DB.
2. How to Enter
(a) To access the competition page you should follow the URL link as provided on the MOS social media pages which will take you to the Ministry of Sound official website (the “Competition Page”). The Competition Page contains a submission form. To enter the Competition, you must fill in the submission form on the Competition Page with your name and email address and submit the form.
(b) The Competition is open between 00:00 GMT on 28 January 2015, and 23:59 GMT on 2 February 2015 (“Closing Date”) (the “Competition Term”).
(c) Entry to the Competition is through the MOS website. MOS makes no warranty as to the availability and/or functionality of such platform and/or website. You are responsible for all internet, mobile phone and all other costs incurred by you in submitting your entry to the Competition.
(d) Your entry must include your full name and email address.
(e) You may enter the Competition only once. By entering, you agree to be bound by MOS’ selection process which is at random by the MOS team as described below.
(a) Neither MOS nor Chamneys shall take any responsibility for any entry which is illegible, misdirected, lost for technical or other reasons or received after the Competition Term.
(b) Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Competition and any person who does not comply with these Official Competition Rules, will be ineligible for a Prize and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
4. Information about You
By entering the Competition you warrant that:
(a) you meet the entry requirements for the Competition;
(b) MOS shall have the right to use your name and likeness in connection with your entry and the promotion of the Competition; and
(c) you indemnify and hold MOS and Champneys harmless from and against any costs, claims, actions, loss, damage or expense (including reasonably incurred legal expenses) which MOS or Champneys may suffer or incur by reason of any breach by you of any of your warranties, obligations or representations made by you in connection with the Competition and/or pursuant to these Official Competition Rules.
(a) After the Closing Date, the MOS team will select an entry at random from all entries that satisfy these Official Competition Rules. The person named as having submitted such an entry shall be the “Winner”.
(b) Prize for the Winner:
(i) A Champneys Day with added reward for the Winner and one (1) guest and one of the following locations: Tring in Hertfordshire, Forest Mere in Hampshire, Henlow in Bedfordshire or Springs in Leicestershire.
(ii) The Champneys Day consists of:
- 9am Arrival
- Welcome to the resort and welcome drink *
- Use of resort facilities including 25 metre swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and whirlpool
- Access to up to 20 different exercise classes per day**
- Three course buffet lunch
- A 25 minute Champneys treatment***
- Complimentary robe hire and flip flops
- Departure 6pm
- You will also receive a 25 minute and 55 minute Champneys treatment***
* Includes a selection of refreshments including yoghurt, granola, mixed berry compote pots, mixed fruit platter, mini muffins, fruit juice, tea/coffee is served with the seasonal welcome drink. Prize valid for 1 year subject to availability.
**£3 charge applies for advanced class bookings only.
*** Treatments allocated will be a seasonal treatment relevant to the time of booking.
(iii) Prize value dependent on location (as listed aboved) and the Price is only valid Monday to Thursday.
(c) The Winner will be selected no more than seven (7) days following the Closing Date. MOS (or its representatives’) decision shall be final and binding in all regards and no correspondence shall be entered into.
(d) The Winner will be notified via email. If a Winner cannot be contacted within twenty four (24) hours of first notification attempt, or in the event that it transpires that the original Winner is found to have breached these Official Competition Rules, MOS may select an alternative Winner at its sole discretion from the participants who submitted an entry that complies with these Official Competition Rules. The name of the Winner will be available on request.
(e) The Prize is provided by Champneys and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Neither MOS nor Champneys make any warranty about the Prize and there are no substitutions or cash redemptions for the Prize. MOS and/or Champneys further reserves the right to substitute the Prize at any time to a value it deems appropriate.
(g) MOS may at its sole discretion cancel or modify the Competition, without liability.
(h) If a sufficient number of eligible entries (as determined by MOS in its sole discretion) are not received by the Closing Date, MOS reserves the right not to award any or all of the Prize. All taxes levied on the Prize awarded in the Competition (including, but not limited to, income taxes) are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Competition Rules. No cash alternative to the Prize is available to the Winner.
6. Your Release of MOS from Any and All Liability.
By entering the Competition you agree that:
(a) Neither MOS nor Champneys shall be liable for loss, damage or injuries of any kind resulting from:
(i) acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of the Prize/loss or damage to the Prize during or after delivery to the Winner;
(ii) your participation in the Competition;
(iii) individual, joint or collective technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, internet connections, computer equipment, hardware and/or software; or
(iv) any delay or distortion of an entry resulting from data transmissions that are garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Competition Rules.
Neither MOS nor Champneys shall be liable for damage to your computer or mobile phone (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to your participation in the Competition or downloading of information in connection with the Competition. MOS reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition in the event that any portion of any website used to administer any aspect of the Competition becomes technically corrupted.
These Official Competition Rules are governed by the law of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England in connection with disputes arising out of or in connection with this Official Competition Rules.
