Spring has truly sprung in Ministry of Sound Radio, and changes are afoot.
We can now proudly inform you that the radio studio is getting a makeover. Big time.
The current studio has been used by some of the biggest DJs for the last 8 years.
As we have moved forward, we have found that we needed more from our play-out system, our studio desk and of course Colin our trusted super-computer.
So we're stripping it bare and starting over. We will be posting photos here shortly so keep your eyes peeled.
But of course, being a radio station, we're all ears, constantly looking for the next killer track, breakthrough DJ and monster mix.
We will not disappoint.
This week sees the return of Faithless and their massive new track, Not Going Home. We're gonna be playing you the brilliant Eric Prydz mix.
Add to that the brilliant Chiddy Bang remix of the Gorillaz track Stylo and Burns' new So Many Nights, and the playlist is looking rather tasty, rather tasty indeed.
The Nu Disco show this week (Thursdays 8-10) is coming from Future Disco (iTunes No.1 Dance Compilation 2009) and The Cosmic Truth. Expect lovely edits and disco nuggets from Dom Chung and head honcho Sean Brosnan.
Steve O'C will be at the controls on Friday eve (5-6pm) playing you the latest additions to the playlist and some of the other tracks he has unearthed over the last seven days. Mix this with a few gems, and you got yourself the perfect start to your weekend. Never shy of a competition, Steve will be giving away copies of the brand new album from GROOVE ARMADA on the show, so get on the bus and stay on!
