Hot on the heels of the number one tool for the White Isle holidaymaker, Clubbers Guide To Ibiza, comes the next piece of iPhone wizardry in Ministry of Sound’s ever-increasing armoury of applications. Dance Radio, available now from iTunes for just £3.99, is a nifty little app that enables fans to not only enjoy the award-winning live stream from Ministry of Sound Radio, but also sift through the other 100 top dance music radio stations and access 20,000 other stations from around the globe.
As well as providing lists of genre-categorised radio streams, this application also delivers users a wealth of exclusive content, including ‘on demand’ mixes from the likes of Toolroom chief Mark Knight, Sony Radio Award winning Ross Allen and Gallery favourites Above & Beyond. Head of Ministry of Sound Mobile, Patrick Hagenaar said: ‘We are very excited about launching a radio application which lets users listen to all the best music stations wherever they are, and have on demand radio shows by some of the biggest DJ’s out there!’.
Making full use of the GPS functions available to the iPhone, Ministry of Sound Dance Radio is also able to generate its channel list by automatically finding all local stations and sorting them by genre, as well as streaming custom playlist URLs as entered by the user.
Ministry of Sound Dance Radio is available from iTunes now, priced at £3.99.
