Pnau

Pnau, the Australian duo consisting of Nick Littlemore (vocals, production) and Peter Mayes (guitar, production) have achieved multiple successes over the past decade. Since the release of their debut album ‘Sambanova’ (1999) which won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release in 2000, Pnau have gone on to work with artists including Ladyhawke, Robbie Williams, Van She and Elton John, performed at some of the world's biggest festivals and won multiple music industry awards.

Their third album 'Pnau' was released in 2008 to international acclaim and Elton John declared it to be the greatest record he had heard in ten years, thus beginning a working relationship that is still ongoing today.

Inspired by their success and collaboration on 'Pnau' with Luke Steele (on the track 'With You Forever'), Nick and Peter decided to work with Luke on a full-blown album. With Peter on production duties and Luke and Nick as frontmen, the trio became known as Empire Of The Sun, whose album 'Walking On A Dream' went on to become a huge international chart success and has been certified platinum in Australia, as well as winning eleven ARIA awards.

Following on from that, it wasn't long before Nick and Peter started work on another Pnau album, 'Soft Universe', which was released in Australia in 2011 and recently won the Best Independent Dance/Electronica Album at the AIR Awards. Pnau are now signed to Ministry of Sound Recordings in the UK and, following a busy winter schedule with lots of festival performances Down Under, they are gearing up to release 'Soft Universe' in the UK in 2012.

Having already released three critically acclaimed albums over in Australia it is with great excitement that PNAU announce the release of their new single 'Unite Us' on Ministry of Sound on 19th February 2012, available to pre-order on iTunes here.
