These “Official Competition Rules” govern your participation in the Ministry of Sound Recordings Limited (“MOS”) “Halloween Competition” (the “Competition”).  Participation in the Competition by submitting your name and email address (as per the instructions below) constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Competition Rules. It is important that you read and understand them.

1.   Who Is Eligible?
The Competition is open to residents in the UK and Eire. Only persons who are at least eighteen (18) years old are eligible to enter the Competition. Any person who is an employee of MOS or an immediate family member of an employee of MOS or any other person who is directly connected with MOS, being any advertising promotion agency or supplier of the Prize (as defined below) for the Competition, shall be ineligible to enter.

2. How To Enter
(a) To enter the Competition go to the following facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ministryofsoundclub?fref=ts#!/photo.php?fbid=10151101508187844&set=a.239972852843.139577.104896457843&type=1&theater /  (the “Competition Page”) and follow the directions to enter. The Competition is open between 01:00 pm BST on 22 October 2012, and 18:00 pm BST on 26 October 2012 (the “Competition Term”). You are responsible for all internet and all other costs incurred by you in submitting your entry to the Competition.

(b) In order to participate in the Competition you must follow the instructions and send an email to egarcia@ministryofsound.com with the answer the question (the “Competition Question”) provided on the Competition Page (the “Entry”) and the details in clause (c) below.

(c) Each Entry shall include your full name, telephone number and postal address. You shall also provide the full name and surname of the person to whom you will give one of the two tickets forming the Prize (the “Guest”). For the avoidance of doubt the Guest must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

(d) You may enter the Competition only once. By entering, you agree to be bound by MOS’s selection process which will be a random draw as described below. MOS shall not take any responsibility for any entries which are illegible, misdirected, lost for technical or other reasons or received after the Competition Term.

(e) By submitting your email address, you also agree to receive the latest Ministry of Sound Group news, offers and competitions by email. Your personal details will be used in accordance with the MOS Privacy Policy which can be found at http://www.ministryofsound.com/Help/Privacy.aspx.

3. Information about You
You warrant that:
(a) you meet the entry requirements for the Competition;

(b) you confirm that MOS shall have the right to use your name and likeness in connection with the Entry and the promotion of the Competition; and

(c) you shall fully and effectually indemnify MOS in respect of any breach of your warranties, obligations or representations made herein together with MOS’s reasonable legal costs.

4. Prize
(a) After the Closing Date, MOS or its representatives will drawn 1 winner at random from all the participants who entered an Entry with the correct answer to the Competition Question (the “Winner”).
(b) Prize for the Winner:
- A pair of AAA tickets to attend to the “Mat and Porter” night at the Ministry of Sound club in London on the 27th October 2012 at 19:00 pm BST (the “Prize”); and
- A goodie bag with CDs from Ministry of Sound and branded t-shirts.

(c) The Winner will be selected on the 26 October 2012 after 18:00 pm BST (the “Closing Date”).  MOS (or its representatives’) decision shall be final and binding in all regards and no correspondence shall be entered into.

(d) The Winner will be notified via email. If the Winner cannot be contacted within twenty-four (24) hours of first notification attempt, or in the event that the original Winner transpires to have breached these Official Competition Rules, MOS may draw at random an alternative Winner from the participants who entered an Entry with the correct answer to the Competition Question. The name of the Winner will be available on request.

 (e) the Prize is non-transferable. MOS does not make any warranty about the Prize and there are no substitutions or cash redemptions for the Prize. MOS further reserves the right to substitute the Prize at any time to a value it deems appropriate.

 (f) if, for reasons beyond the control of MOS (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection or rights issues), the Competition is not capable of running as originally planned, MOS at their sole discretion, reserve the right to cancel or modify the Competition, without liability. If a sufficient number of eligible entries (as determined by MOS in its sole discretion) are not received by the Closing Date, MOS reserves the right not to award the Prize. All taxes levied on the Prize awarded in the Competition (including, but not limited to, income taxes) are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Competition Rules.  Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Competition and any person who does not comply with these Official Competition Rules, will be ineligible for the Prize and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. No cash alternative to the Prize is available to the Winner. If the Winner of the Prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts having been made by MOS then MOS may dispose of the Prize as it thinks fit without any liability to the Winner for having done so.

5. Your Release of MOS from Any and All Liability.
MOS shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from: (i) acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of the Prize/loss or damage to the Prize during delivery to the Winner, (ii) participation in the Competition, (iii) individual, joint or collective technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, internet connections, computer equipment, hardware and/or software, or (iv) any delay or distortion of an entry resulting from data transmissions that are garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Competition Rules. MOS shall not be liable for damage to your computer (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to your participation in the Competition or downloading of information in connection with the Competition. MOS reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition in the event that any portion of any website used to administer any aspect of the Competition becomes technically corrupted. (v) the Winner and the Guest shall be solely responsible for the following: a) their transport to and from the Ministry of Sound club in London; b) their accommodation in the event that they do not reside in London; c) their food and drinks; d) their travel insurance (if any); e) their ability to provide a valid ID proving that they are aged eighteen (18) or above.

6. Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
