Breakage aka James Boyle is never been one to be pigeonholed. Moving effortlessly through styles from drum and bass to dubstep, Breakage has proved himself to be one of the most versatile operators in either scene to date. A prodigious talent, he already has a number of classic releases under his belt but continues to develop his sound. Combining rich tones and a sense of spaciousness in the mix, ...

Breakage’s music is both subtle yet devastatingly effective.

2011 saw Breakage up the levels once again. His recent single ‘Fighting Fire’ feat. Jess Mills charted at 34 in the official UK national charts and spent 5 weeks on the BBC Radio 1playlist.

2012 see's Breakage up the levels once more, with a new album, world tour and production for various artists in progress.

This is why we are very much looking forward to Breakage taking to the Ministry of Sound decks for the very first time this weekend as he debuts in the Box, and plays alongside Basement Jaxx and Thomas Gandey for what is another very diverse Saturday Sessions line-up which have become so renowned when Basement Jaxx are in town!
